A lot of the knocking on the wheel is apparently due to the gears in the Logitech Wheels. Guess next time I will save up for a belt driven wheel. Happy enough with the FFB now - will need to tweak it over time as I learn the physics of the game (spinning out every 2s at the moment!
here are my Force Feedback settings for Forza Horizon 4 with the T300. Imho they are much better than standard settings. No harm in trying them out at least. Just change those 5 settings in the screenshot and adjust the Overall Force Feedback strength in the T300 Control Panel to 80% (or your preference) Other forces all at 100%.
